The name LocoSOFT brings together local government and software—reflecting our purpose of creating technology specifically around the shared needs of councils.

LocoSOFT’s strategic relationship with the Association of Local Government Information Management (ALGIM) has always made sense because it aligns with ALGIM’s core ethos: ensuring councils throughout New Zealand can leverage technology to deliver better council services to their communities. That shared purpose is why ALGIM helps connect shared council challenges with sector knowledge and practical software delivery.
ALGIM helped identify delegations management as a significant shared challenge, validate sector demand, and engage councils alongside LocoSOFT in developing a better solution. That collaboration helped create LocoDELEGATIONS and continues to keep LocoSOFT grounded in the priorities and practical realities of local government.
